This week has been a week of light and enjoyable traffic in Jakarta, Indonesia. Known as the destination for Indonesians to try their luck, during this holiday season, Jakarta is pretty much “empty”. So I set out to do an experiment, one that will inform me of how much I’m saving in fossil fuels. I have a 2009 Honda Freed, people say that it’s the best bang for the buck when it comes to MPVs. This has been a fun day of basketball with the guys. I can’t find myself to sleep at this hour because after a few years of never exercising and or playing any kind of sports, I was too drained. How many strands of thread does it take to keep us from being naked everyday? A whole lot for sure! How do you somehow collect all those strands and weave them into a single united strands that we wear everyday? Easy, a needle, strands with enough length and a significant amount of time and energy should suffice. So what’s the substance connecting all the dots? Technology. Dissecting and subordinating the impossible usually starts with HOW. How did you do it? How do we sew the strands to finally forms a piece of clothing? Technology in this virtual age is all about data. They are the fundamental element that shapes a computer as we know it today. These past few weeks, I’ve been indulging myself into reading numerous articles both local and abroad about Startups. Most of the articles are written by people from outside the startup bubble looking inside. This boils down into again, Perspective. I’m sure everyone has got something to say about startups, so do I lol. I am part of a Startup that has gone through significant changes internally.
