Today was started with a big curiosity towards Urbanesia’s recent performance drop. This week we discovered that although we have completely revamped our codes to hack CI to use MongoDB as its session storage instead of MySQL, we found that Memcache is the bottleneck. I’ve been toying with Urbanesia’s OAuth provider API calls in Android these few hours regretting why it is so complicated in Java compared to PHP hehehe. Since OAuth’s requirement to generate a signature is using HMAC SHA1 to sign the whole POST & GET requests, I had to find a way to do it in Android’s Java. Wow my second trip to Bancakan, Jogja was full of positivity, optimism and of course knowledge. The trip was 2 days 1 night but the experience I absorbed was well beyond the quantity. The theme for the Bancakan event was Wordpresspreneur. Startups and entrepreneurs as speakers came from Bandung and in and around Jogja.
