The first Cyanogen Mod build for Nexian Journey is quite the rush. By default, the CPU is forced to run at 800 MHz, that’s more than the 600 MHz capability of the phone. Luckily, the next build now defaults to 600 MHz and that’s the build I’m upgrading my phone with.

Okay the title is a WTF right? To be honest, this blog post is inspired by one of the earliest episode of Heroes when Nathan and his Mom told Peter that he is having illusions of grandeur. This few weeks, I’ve been actively downloading and using apps just to try them on and see which ones that’s enough to make my smoking habits go away for a while. Some of it are apps you only use occasionally while some are apps you’d definitely use everyday when it suits you.

We’ve all heard, used, tweaked and cherish Google Analytics either for its web or mobile web capabilities of serving us information about our visitors. So I’ve been wondering about a mobile app equivalent I can use with the exception of mobile ad networks. I came across Flurry a couple months ago and still using it until now.
One of Flurry’s edge compared to other platforms is plainly and simply because it’s the most flexible and complete with a price tag 0 in any currency.

Okay so I got myself a new Android gadget to play with and only recently looking for ways to root the device. It was bundled with 24 Gigs worth of data plan free for 1 year! Who wouldn’t want to tether the data stream right? Lucky for me, the device is actually from an OEM named Foxconn somewhere in China. People are already rooting their devices and I am up for some free data ;)

Aren’t you pissed when you’ve done all the codings and debugging only to find out after you pay $25, your apps didn’t show up at Android Market? Okay this particular issue has bugged me twice in the last 3 months and it’s suffice to say, I must share this with other developers who might be experiencing the same issue.

On to the next part of Community Audio a.k.a my own music hosted at The Internet Archive. Most of the song I wrote are hosted over there while still there are other hosted at Myspace and iLike. Looking at the statistics, The Internet Archive is a clear winner, offering access to larger crowds.
One of my favorite song is “My Good Friend”. I remembered when writing this song, I was just fooling around with my guitar and my cousin Ina came from out of nowhere and she just started to sing along.

It’s been more than 5 years since I uploaded my first Creative Commons Licensed music now referred as Community Audio at archive.org. Bottom-line, looking at the statistics, I was in smiles :) The Internet Archive is more accessible to the mass it reads.
